Quarterly Bookkeeping
A three-month close for lower-volume businesses that do not need a monthly rhythm.

A closed set of books on the same date every month, so the number you quote a lender, a landlord or yourself is the real one.
Monthly bookkeeping is the service most owners come to us for, and the one that makes everything else on this site dependable. Each month we take in your bank feeds, card statements, loan statements and merchant deposits, code every transaction to the account it belongs in, reconcile each account against its statement, and close the period.
Closing matters. An open month can be changed by anyone with the login, which means the report you printed in March may not match the same report printed in June. We close, we lock, and the number stays the number.
A close is not a date on a calendar. It is the point where every account has been tied back to a statement someone else issued, every transaction has a home, and nothing is left sitting in an ask-my-accountant bucket waiting to be someone's problem later.
You are the right fit if money moves in your business more than a handful of times a week and you have stopped being able to answer simple questions from memory. Owners hire us at the point where they can no longer say what they spent on materials last quarter, or whether the good month was really a good month or a slow month with a big deposit in it.
It is also the right service when someone else is depending on the numbers. A lender asking for two years of statements, a landlord asking for a profit and loss, a partner asking why the distribution was smaller this quarter. Those conversations go badly when the books are three months stale.
1
Bank feeds sync and you drop anything the feed cannot see, such as a paper loan statement or a cash log, into the shared folder.
2
Every line is categorized and each account is tied back to its statement balance. Anything ambiguous comes to you as a short list of questions, not a guess.
3
The period is locked and the statements are produced from reconciled data.
4
Statements, the prior month alongside, and a plain note on anything worth your attention.
Our home market is Humble, Texas, and most of our clients sit in the Lake Houston communities around it. That matters less than it used to for the mechanics of the work, which runs in QuickBooks Online and needs no one in your office, and more than you would think for the pace of it. We keep the close date fixed because the businesses around here are seasonal enough that an owner needs the number early in the month, not late.
Where the work is fully remote, which is most of it, we take clients well outside the Lake Houston area.
Most files close within the first ten business days of the following month, and we set your specific date at onboarding so you can plan around it. Files with high transaction volume or several merchant accounts can run a few days longer in the first two months while we learn the patterns.
Very little once the setup is right. Bank feeds pull in automatically, and what we usually need from you is a short answer on a handful of transactions we cannot identify from the description alone.
Yes. We review the prior periods before we start monthly work so we know what we inherited, and we tell you plainly if something upstream needs correcting first.
No. We are a bookkeeping practice. What we do is hand your tax preparer a clean, reconciled set of books, which is usually the part that causes trouble at filing time.
