Wolf and Tiger Bookkeeping opened in 2024 in Humble, Texas, built around a simple idea: the person who takes your first call should still be the person reconciling your accounts a year later.
Starting and running a small business is hard enough without the books becoming another thing you are behind on. Most owners we meet are not bad at bookkeeping. They are busy, and bookkeeping is the task that quietly slides.
We named the practice after two animals because the two halves of this job need different instincts. The wolf is the part that stays: loyal to the pack, patient with detail, unwilling to leave a transaction unexplained. The tiger is the part that moves: precise, protective, and strong enough to take on a backlog nobody else wanted.
What that looks like in practice is a firm that specializes narrowly and on purpose. We track, record, and organize financial data, and we do not take on work that belongs to a licensed tax professional. Owners tell us that the clarity of that line is part of why they hired us.
We work with sole proprietors, single and multi-member LLCs, partnerships, nonprofits, startups, and established businesses running payroll for a team. Our home market is Humble, Texas and the Lake Houston area, and most of what we do runs remotely.
A month is not closed here until the statements and the ledger agree.
A bookkeeping firm is only as good as the person who does not skip the tedious part. That is the whole job. There is no clever shortcut in reconciliation, and there is no version of this work where being almost right is good enough.
So we kept the practice small on purpose. Two owners, a defined service list, and a close date we hold to. When you send a question, one of us answers it.
